Hi,my maiden name is Vietor and our family has a quite well documented family history book about our ancestor line. Our family comes from Schwalenberg/Lippe and one of my direct ancestors moves to Kassel/Hessen around 1850 or so.. The first immigrants to USA from my ancestor line are around 1850 - precise date not known. Thereafter, many, many of them went to the States. Our records hold more than 500 Vietors, about a third of them citizens of USA. Since the name "Vietor" is not too common, is would be interesting to learn
more. I checked our records and did not find a Frank or Franz Vietor at that time. However, maybe more Vietors find out something more. Intersted to learn more. Greetings, Renata
