I'm sorry. I know better than that. I forget that everybody does not know who I am talking about. I am at work and do not have the exact dates but I will tell you what I know from memory. LBL Vick married Nancy Ellen Basset and they lived in Bienville Parish when he went to war. He never returned. I do not know where he was born. They had: Andrew Marion 1856, James Buchannan,Howell Wren (more I cannot think of right now). I have heard his name was Lewis Brantly & Lewis Bartly but that may have been somebody just guessing. It has also been suggested his father was Lewis Vick. I went to Bienville Parish and any documents I found just said LBL. Andrew was said to have married Georgia Heflin. Many people have her listed but nobody knows anything else about it. I have not been able to find anything about her. I even went to Baton Rouge where they said any birth or death records are kept and they rudely told me "that is private information". I did find a marriage record for Andrew and Sallie Payne in Webster Parish in 1878. I believe Sallie was only 13 when they married. In 1880 there was a census record in Sevier County, Arkansas. That is where my gggrandmother Leona Bell Vick was born Oct. 1880. Her little brother, John Carson Vick was born in 1883 and the mother died 3 days after he was born. The family then moved to Texas where Andrew married Martha Lawrence. I have Leona's death certificate and her mother is listed as Hutchins which was Nancy Ellens name when she married again. The info was given by my great aunt and she did not know her grandmother either. Thank you for your help. Jerri Notify Administrator about this message?
