Hi! Hinton Vick was born Nov.11,1820 in N.C. He married July 31, 1851 in Lafayette County, Miss. to Margaret Ann Guthrie. she was born same date but in 1833 in Bowling Green Warren County, Kentucky. He died July 3,1893 in Lavaca County. his father was Rev. Richard Vick a Primitive Baptist, his mother was Mary Hinton Vick of N.C. Margaret died Mar.7,1909 in Lavaca County, Texas. Her parents were William E. Guthrie and Mary Ann Beasley. Hinton and Margaret had 11 children: Silas Richard, Mary Ann, John Edward, hinton H. Jr. Frank M., andrew Jackson died at age 3,Joseph, Margaret elizabeth, James H.or W., infant, and Ida Jane. Need anymore let me know. After May 5th you may reach me at srgarrett@guam.net.
