I am direct ancestor of Juan Vives- Leslie are you
a member of the DAR? If so your papers helped me
become a member. So good to hear markers are at
the plantation site of Belle Alliance. I would
very much like to visit the area someday. Leslie
do you have anymore info on Juan or if any family
is left in area? I would love to know if his portrait
is still around the one that is in one of the historical
books discribing families that were original to area.
