Hello
I too am searching for Jospeh Wachter which was born in Germany. I do not know where or when for sure. However I do have his son name which was Longiens and he was born 1852 in Germany and died in Wellsville, New York 8 July 1908. He was my grand father. I do not know if there is any relatives that lived in the Chicago, Ill area. I would like to hear from you some more about Jospeh and I will send you what I have about his children also.
