In the old court records of Lexington, Ky (Fayette County) found a small entry : Pg. 97. Robert Bradley declares that he has rented the two - story house to Major John P Wagnon for four years from Dec 1, 1806, for which Wagnon has paid in full. The property to be returned on December 1, 1810 in good tenantable repaid. November 19, 1806. William Pritchartt, witness, Recorded November 19, 1806.

My interest is in William Pritchartt, my ancestor and merchant of many years in Lexington Ky. Looking for clues. Who is this Major John P Wagnon, possibly a veteran of Rev War, estimate birth 1760? Any clues welcome, as there may be a relationship to my ancestor. Annerupert@aol.com
