Seeking proof of parentage of Jepthah/Jeptha/Japetha WEDDLE m. Mary Ann WALL. Their children:
1. William Jasper WEDDLE.
2. George Washington WEDDLE.
3. Samantha Evaline WEDDLE.*
4. Simeon Joseph WEDDLE.
5. Sylvester Franklin 'Frank' WEDDLE.*
6. Cyrus Benjamin WEDDLE.
7. Norah Florence WEDDLE.
8. Susanna May WEDDLE.
9. Minnie Myrtle WEDDLE. *
Children with *'s I have descendants for. Jepthah might have been a cobbler. He and Mary Ann supposedly came from Brown County, Indiana to Douglas County, Illinois around 1869-1870, and then moved again abt 1876 to Bourbon County, Kansas. Surely sounds like they must hook up with others who are being mentioned here, but how? One person told me he was the son of Pleasant G. WEDDLE, but no proof was offered. Can anyone point me to the correct source of information to prove these things? Thanks.
I'm willing to share whatever descendant info I have with others.
