My Wegener ancestors migrated from Steinhilfe Germany and arrived Brisbane 1865 on the 'Susanah Godefroi". Their names were Wilhelm and Emilie Wegener. Emilie's maiden name was Reisener. Wilhelm was born about 1835 and died 1913 in Maryborugh Queensland. They married in 1862 in Germany. They had 11 children - 3 were buried at sea on the journey to Australia. Some of the children were:
Ida, Albert, Wilhelm, Julius, Emil. Wilhelm and Emilie are my great great great grandparents. I have more info if this sounds familiar. You may email me:
