WANTED Dead AND alive!

Varmints known by or related in any way to the following names:

WERELEY WERLEY WERELY WERLEE WERLY WEHERLEY WEHRLI

or some mutation of these names, who share the following
characteristics:

Forefathers were from the Schoharie (Albany) region of New York
State or who migrated there;

Forefathers were from Ontario, Canada or who migrated there -
probably from New York State, possibly from Pennsylvania through New
York; all probably have roots in 14th century Germany. Many were
descibed as Dutch.

Were associated with the Palantine Migrations of the 1700's;

Were probably Loyalists during the Revolutionary era.

Especially sought suspects may recognize one or more of these early
progenitors from the mid 1700's and early 1800's (spellings may vary
within families):

Peter Werley - wife Maria, from Schoharie region, New York State

Peter (Psalter) Werley - wife Margaret Helmer from Ontario, Canada,
born NYS

George G. Wereley - wife Margaret Empey, from Ontario, Canada, born
NYS

John (Hansie) Werely - wife Ann, from Ontario, Canada, born NYS

Martin Wereley - wife Margaret Wert aka Wart, Ontario, Canada, prob.
born NYS

John Wereley - wife Elisabeth, Schoharie region NYS

Jurrie Werlee, aka John Geo(r)ge Werely - wife Catarina Merkle aka
Catherine Merkel, NYS

Representatives from subsequent generations may be posted in future
messages and are available upon request from the Moderator.

Vast numbers of critters were spawned by these varmints and overran
the Stormont - Dundas - Glengarry regions of Ontario, Canada; New
York State, Wisconsin, and then to all points on the globe. Some
may have joined similarly named Werleys in Pennsylvania who may or
may not be related.
