Thanks very much for replying. We are definately related - you are my 2nd cousin. Lingard jr was my grandfather and he had 2 children - Charles (my father) and Eunice (who you mentioned as possibly being his wife). Lingard sr was married to Ethel May Jones.
Where abouts in England does your sister live? I left a message on this forum for her but as yet no reply.
I have loads of information on the Westwell family for you and have traced them back to c1775.
If you let me know what your email address is then i can forward this information on.
I have told my aunt (Eunice) that i have been in contact with you and like myself she is interested in what information you have.
