I am trying to find any information regarding the parents of Dr John T Wharton who married Kate Williamson in Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas
John T is posted on land records in 1876in Pope County
There is also a William L Wharton having land in 1843 which would make sense to be John T father but I am not sure.
John T was born in Louisville, KY and on Census Records has both parents born in KY.
Somehow he was born in KY lived in AR and then in the late 1880's moved to what is now Duncan, OK.
He had two sons that were Doctors (Dr John Thomas Wharton and Dr James Osman Wharton.

Minnie Wharton
Jesse Lawrence Wharton
Sidney Philip Wharton
Susie May Wharton
Cloyd Woodberry Wharton
Annie Wharton
All Born in Pope County, Arkansas
in A Standard History of Oklahoma it states Dr John T Wharton was born in Louisville and his ancestors date back to Virginia Pre-Revolutionary War.
Any help would be tremendously appreciated,
