I visited Edith Whartons home in Lenox and it was wonderful. I felt as if Edith herself and her friends, including Henry James, had just left the room. Has anyone on this list visited her home or have an interest in her life? The Mount, which she built, is a wonderful place. I don't have Wharton's in any of my genealogy lines but I have a literary interest in Edith's life. Has anyone on this list been there or done research onher husband? I do have ancestors that were in Litchfield Co, CT. and later in Westfield, MA....not too far from Lennox.
