I am looking for descendants of William H. Wharton (he is buried in Lake Jackson, Tx) and John A. Wharton who were Senator and Representative for the Republic of Texas on October 3, 1836 in Columbia, Texas. We are dedicating a beautiful park with 20 historical stations, native plants and walking path to the history that happened at that time in Texas. Would love to have descendants of William H. Wharton and John A. Wharton of Brazoria to attend the dedication of "Capitol of Texas Park - A Walk through the Birth of Texas" on April 17, 2009. Contact tissie@quikheal.com for more information
