Hi Dave,
Thank you very much that is great information. Ann married John Staveley ( b. 9 Sept. 1827, Dent.) on 16 Sept 1850.
John was the son of Henry Staveley and Sarah Mary Greenbank. Henry was the son of Henry Staveley and Mabel Lindsey, my great, great grandparents. I have no info on Ann except this that you have given me, so would appreciate anything you can tell me.
My postal address is Ravenstonedale, I don't live in the village itself but about 4 miles away. I shall try and find Ashfield Farm if it still exsists.
