Dear Jean,
My genealogy is still in storage but off the top of my head I might have a Curtis lead for you. I am researching a Samuel Bennett b.c. 1803 who moved to Silver Creek, Greene , Ohio who might be my Samuel Bennett who was indentured to William H. Beavans of Accomack. That area of Ohio was where you could execute Revolutionary War bounty warrants. Now to the point, a Curtis researcher implied that I should be aware of the Curtis family from Accomack who were in a woodworking business. I think the town was Morrisville, Ohio. I never tried to look into his findings.
