This is in a Bible on ebay. Hope it helps someone.

Edmond Warren Whatley moved for Georgia to Alabama. Muster ou of Civil War at Galveston and settled near Richmond, Texas (Born 1832 - Father of Wlaton Whatley)
W.O. Whatley shot and killed A.E. Oats in 1924 (no trial)
Mrs. E.W. Whatley was an "Autry" before marriage. Gene Autry was her nephew.
Edmond Warren Whatley Sr. (1834-1867) was shot to death mysteriously while riding in buggy on plantation.
