Looking for the parents of Malissa Ann Wherry, born 1811. She died in 1856 in Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio.
Her first marriage was to James Martin. They moved to Sistersville, Tyler County, Virginia (now West Virginia). They had 3 children: William, Nancy Anne and Leamon Wherry Martin. Leamon was born in December of 1843.
James Martin died around 1846. Malissa Ann and the children came back to Steubenville, where Malissa married Asa Travis in 1847.
Have been unable to find Malissa's ancestors. She went by her middle name on her marriage license to Asa Travis--she's listed as Ann Martin.
