Thank you! I didn't know what John's wife's name was and with so many repeating given names in this family, I find it hard to keep it all straight.

Now that I know John Whitsett's wife is Lucy Ramsey, I have another question:

Below is a Lafayette Co., MO will abstract I didn't include the first time:

ALEXANDER M. RAMSEY. Died intestate
Administrator Lewis McCoy appointed 18 Oct. 1845
Securities William Whitsett & Wm. Whitsett
[how William & Wm. was written on page]
page 75

Are Lucy Ramsey and Alexander M. Ramsey related? Father/daughter or brother/sister?
