DNA test for Whittle lines

Hi,
I am descended from the James Burris Whittle line of Whittles. We are trying to connect our line to the lines of
Ambrose and John Whittle. These lines moved from Virginia to South Carolina in the 1700s and some moved on to other states. Have any of you had DNA tests that connected you to any of the South Carolina Whittles? If so I would love to hear from you.
