My records for William b 1876 are as follows
at 1881 census at Kirkmichael, Perthshire
at 1891 census at Kirkmichael, Perth ref 370-1-03-06
at 1901 census at 27 Springbank Street, Milton Glasgow a House Joiner with a Housekeeper Catherine Lamont aged 24
at brother Daniels death in 1915 address was 70 Seamore Street, Glasgow
at same address in 1928 at mothers death
but the 1901 census is incorrect as William I now find married Catherine Lamont a Domestic Servant of 6 Gayfield St Glasgow, father Archibald Lamont a Shipowner and mother Bella McDougall on the 7th Decemeber 1900 at 21 Gibson St Hillhead Galsgow. Williams address was 264 Buchanana Street, Galsgow and he was a House Joiner aged 24 parents agree.
Lets hope they had children. If her father was a shipowner perhaps they had some money and lived in an area that still exists!
