Can anyone tell me if Robert Whorton born 1851 near Hickory, Grundy Co, Missouri was the oldest son of James Leonard Whorton and Nancy Adeline Boon/e? My Robert Whorton first married Virginia F. Kemp. Robert's obit says he was the eldest of a family of 11 children.

An obit of Lucinda Whorton Coy Harris (one daughter of James/Nancy) says that Lucinda was survived by two brothers Robert Whorton of near Hickory and Joe Whorton of Arkansas. I know from census that one son of James/Nancy was Joseph P.

I am speculating that my Robert Whorton belongs to this family. No documention. Any help appreciated. cakemp@yahoo.com
