I am looking for info on my GG-Grandparents Bettie Crowder b.1858 in GA. and Webster Stephen Whorton b.1855 in Alabama(possibly Cherokee CO. I think they lived in Bartow Co. GA. at one time as well as Cherokee Co. AL. I dont know when Bettie died but I have census record from 1900 in Jackson Co. AL. with Webster and their kids. they were:
Leecy or Lucy b.1884 in GA.age 16
Joseph H. b.1886 in GA. 14
Flora Alice (My Great Grandmother)b.1888 in GA. 12
Flora Alice m. James Thomas Shinn
James R.(possibly Ross)b.1890 in GA. 10
William J. b.1892 in GA. age 8
Webster died Dec.2 1934 in N. Birmingham AL. This is all the infoo I have on the Whortons and Crowders. I got this from my Great Aunt Ruth who is the Grand dau. of Flora Alice and Thomas Shinn. Any info or help on this family would be greatly appreciated.
