Is Tennessee Ann WHORTON my long-lost ggGrandmother?

John M. Mayfield b.abt.1840 AR m.Tennessee Ann Whorton b.abt.1843 AR, had nine children. I am looking for proof that one of the children of this couple is my great-grandmother, but this entire branch seems shrouded in mystery. Do you know anything about the descendants of Tennessee Ann WHORTON Mayfield? Below I have given brief facts concerning Manda or Amanda Emaline MAYFIELD, their daughter, whom I believe to be my great-grandmother....

One of them was Manda E. MAYFIELD b.abt.1868 AR, I think she first married Artemus Easterday in 1884, and had a son with him named Finis (but this is not proven yet).

Then she married F(rank) M. HURST in 1891, Johnson County, AR. In 1900 she and Frank were living in Esculapia Twp, Benton County, AR with four children: Finis (listed as a HURST, but can't be according to the number of years married), George S(idney), Maggie, and Viola M.

In 1910 Frank is listed a widower, living in Johnson County with his brother- and sister-in-law, James T. and Nancy J. MARTIN, none of Frank's children are with him, but George S(idney) is living nearby with Manda and Nancy's brother, Layfayette "Fate" Mayfield and his wife Ida.
What happened to Frank and Manda's daughters?

Did they go to live with relatives (the John and Martha McCORMACKs in Stilwell, Adair County, OK? Did John and Martha list them as their adopted daughters in the 1910 U.S. Federal Census?

Maggie HURST b.abt.1895 AR = Annie HEARSE b.abt.1897 AR?
Viola M. HURST b.abt.1898 AR = Ola HEARSE b.abt.1900 AR?

I am desperately searching for the identity of my grandmother, Mary Viola "Ola" HURST-McCORMACK who was taken in by the John and Martha McCormack family. Please help solve her mystery...

Please contact me if you have any information about this family. Thanks, Tina
