Hi, yes, I have collected quite a bit of Whorton info.

I really wanted to clear up the Leonard Whorton born c1770-1775 in VA story. He came to MO with family/sons. The story that Leonard and son Henry went to the California Gold Rush was true apparently, but I think Leonard would be way too old.

I have both men on the 1850 census, so perhaps they left that year?

Also, gave up on getting an accurate list of Henry Thomas Whorton/Lucinda Coy's children. Settled on

James Leonard Whorton
William A. Whorton
Henry C. Worton
Samuel Whorton
Daniel Owen Whorton
Unknown Whorton
