Hi,
I'm trying to help out some relatives of my G Grandfathers sister Melvina Bertrand (Burton)who married a William Francis Malliett in Bay Settlement, Brown county, Wi on August 2,1874.
Anyways we are trying to verify his parents names & find the town he was born in. QUESTIONS BELOW!
Rose Sullivan sent me (believe she is inputting her findings in here)a ship passenger list that reads:
John Malliet 39 m....Joannes Franciscus Malliet -Born Oud-Heverlee July 25,1815
Anna 32 F - Anna Catharine daughter of Henri Horckmans. Born St Joris-Weert Oct 29, 1821
Francis Malliet 10 m.....1854-10=1844
Joseph Malliet 8 m... 1854-8=1846
Felix Malliet 1/2 m... july 1854-1/2=Jan 1854
Questioning if this Francis could be William Francis who was according to his death cert of Bear Creek, Wi. born in 1852 in Flemish Belgium?
She goes on with 1860- Brown county ,Wi census
Malliet John 43 m. Belgium, T. of Scott, Wegiock
Malliet Joseph 14 m Belgium 1860-14=1846
Malliet Frederick, 10 m Belgium 1860-10=1850
Julius, 7 m Wisc. 1860-7=1853.
ARE THESE 2 JOHNS THE SAME PEOPLE? HAS ANYONE VERIFIED THEY ARE?
DOES WILLIAM FIT IN THIS FAMILY OR MIGHT HE BE FROM ANOTHER MALLIET LINE FROM BELGIUM? ANYBODY HAVE ANY INFO ON WILLIAM & PARENTS,etc...?
DOES ANYONE HAVE AN OBIT FOR THIS JOHN WHO SUPPOSEDLY DIED IN GREEN BAY WI? DEATH CERT?
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON ANY OF THESE LINES THEY MIGHT BE WILLING TO SHARE WITH US?
WILLIAM & MELVINA DID RESIDE IN POLAR, BRYANT & BEAR CREEK.
