Linda Malliet Balwin 1874-1909 Maple Creek to Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I'm trying to find out who this Linda Malliett is. I cannot place her in the tree nor do I know of ANY Malliets that were in Outagamie County that early.

I just came across her obit in Stevens pointe paper dated March 3, 1909.

Says she was born Linda Malliett in Maple Creek, Outagamie County, Wi on April 26, 1874 to a Mr & Mrs Frank Malliet of Welcome(Bear Creek.)
She married Frank E. Baldwin in 1896. Moved to Stevens Point about 1902 where Mr Balwin was employed at National
Express Company.

Survivors are Husband Frank, son Frank 9 yrs old-2 brothers John & Lemuel of Antiogo & 3 sisters: Mrs Louis Lorge of Maple Creek, Mrs Geo. McKenzie of Oconto & Mrs. Robt. Galloway of New London.

Can anyone connect with this family? Any help appreciated.
