NEW WHEAT
Mr. J. E. Doty, of Dale, brought to town yesterday, a load of about forty bushels of new wheat; the first we believe that has been brought to this market this season. It was red chaff White Winter, and a more plump, bright or handsome kernel we never saw. It sold readily at 93 cts per bushel. Mr. J. Verstegen of the Zeeland Mills, Little Chute, was the purchaser. Mr. D. informed us that nearly all the wheat grown in his neighborhood was equal to that marketed by him. Outagamie County can’t be beat in the production of the cereal crops.
