I have a William Greaves, son of Abraham Greaves and Agnes Stringer, born in Racine, Wisconsin July 1872. Does anyone have any info on any Greaves in Racine in the 1870's. Abraham Greaves emigrated from Oldham, England to Philadelphia. He served in the Civil War. He married Agnes ca 1870 and went to Racine where he did not stay very long. I am attempting to find out why and thought he might have gone to stay with family. Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Georgia Whitson
