I typed L. M. Neiman into roots web tonight and there are many, many records. A few of the submitters have the information that Eliza May's mother, Matilda Bechtold Gerberich, died in Minnesota, in 1915. You might want to try to email those people and find out where they got that information. I have gone into the Minnesota Death Index and didn't find her yet. It looks like this Matilda was christened Marty Matilda Bechtold, according to some of the birth dates in roots web, and her parents were William and Elizabeth Bechtold. A help in the Minnesota Death Index is mother's maiden name, so I was trying to figure out Matilda's mother's maiden name, with no luck yet. Anyway, I think that if I were you, I might order that death certificate for L. M. Neiman. The birthdate is the same and there is some connection to Minnesota, knowing that Matilda died there. Please keep me posted and I will keep looking. I can check the card index at the archives at The University of River Falls, next time I'm down there.
