I am just beginning my research on my Harms family. I have a Pauline Wilhelmina Harms born in, I believe, Altona, Schelsweig-Holstein 16 August 1821. She married an Adolph Peter Cla(a)ssen, again I believe in Schelsweig-Holstein. I don't know if he ever made it to the US, but she wound up in Wisconsin, although her sons were eventually in Chicago (her daughters in Sheboygan, WI near her). The daughters married into the Beyerstedt and Hess(e) families.
