this may be just by accident, but my dad, who died in 1979, is William G Widger also.
he had a brother Byron who preceeded him in death and a father, Arthur Widger and mom named I think Alma Widger.
I know his aunt. (we caled her aunt Crean) tried to take my grandfather's ashes back east to his family somewhere, but i don't know where that would be, or anything more about his/my family.
Do you have an relatives that moved to California?? It might be us.
Oh, also, as kids, we used to have a civil war, cavalry sword that came down thru my dad's side of the family.
