At this moment I do not have dates, but I do have general information. My grandparents, Paul and Naomie Wieneke, currently live in Jerseyville, in Jersey County and I know Carl A. Wieneke lived there until he died in Viet Nam. As far as I know at least three generations prior to my Grandparents also lived in Jersey County.
There are quite a few Wieneke's in Jersey county to this day, but my Grandparents say that as far as they know, we are not of the same lineage. Given the unusually high concentration of Wieneke's in Jersey County, I tend to have my doubts and have often wondered if there was something of a falling out between the Wieneke's in Jersey County.
It would not surprise me. All the Wieneke's I have ever known, including myself, tend to be a very stubborn sort :-).
