I'm also looking for any information on the Wilke family. My husband's great grandfather was Albert Wilke. He & his wife Elise owned a confectionary store & lived in West New York, NJ also. They were listed in the 1930 census, but I haven't found any other information on them - dates of death etc. I wonder if they are connected to the same family somehow? I know Albert & Elise had 3 children: Erik, Clara, and Ella. In the 1930 census, just Albert & Elise were mentioned in the household - Albert was born about 1872 & Elise in 1874 butI could not tell what year they immigrated although they were naturalized. They do not show up in the Social Security Index either. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Louise
