Just received S.S.-5 Application for Cora lee "Hicks" Duncan b. Sept 6, 1885 Denton, Denton Co. TX
Her mothers maiden name is given on different papers as, Walker, Wilson and Wilkens.

S.S.-5 returned as Wilkens.

Martha Wilkens married John William Hicks (ca. 1871), re census records of 1880 Denton co. TX

Martha's Obit states that she was a native Texan, having been born in Williamson Co. TX, in 1856. Death certificate gives birth as June 6, 1856 b.p. as Williamson Co.

Martha Wilkens, Wilson, Walker? has been a brick wall, any suggestions?

Cora, Martha's daughter, death cert. states her mothers maiden name as Walker.

funeral home info from Cora's brother (James Hicks) states Martha's maiden name as Wilson.

Obit info came from another brother of Cora,(Joseph Hicks) that list Martha's maiden name as Wilkins.
As well as, the info that Cora gave when she filed for Social Security number.

Any suggestions, would be appreciated.
