Wilkin family - Brough/Appleby Westmorland

The Wilkin family lived at Brough/Brough Sowerby & Appleby until about 1800. John Wilkin 1782-1875 was born at Appleby and moved to London about 1800, his father William 1738/42-1814was also born Appleby, and was an apothecary/surgeon and later head distributor of stamps for Westmorland and
?Cumberland. His father William Wilkin 1706-1744 was a solicitor and at one time a JP. ny information on this family, or earlier generations would be appreciated.
