I am Stephen Wilkin from West Yorks and tracing Wilkin family my father, grandfather, and great grandfather all born in Bramley Leeds, West Yorkshire.
However my great great grandfather was Arthur Wilkin born in Tilbury Essex 1867 married Jane in 1880s had two brothers Otho and Walter both died young and sister Ellen
I believe Arthur's father was Samuel Wilkin (sometimes Wilken Wilkins) born in 1842/3 in Great Yeldham Essex
who married Emma (Winch/Wynch?)
I believe Samuel Wilkin to be the brother of William /John/Robert/Frederick/Eliza and son of William Wilkin born 1816 marrried to Hannah in Great Yeldham or Castle Hedingham in Essex I think?
The Wilkin s seem to all hail from Great Yeldam Little Yeldam Tilbury (Juxta Clare) and Castle Hedingham area in Essex.
Anybody have any further information they think could help me. Thanks
