My daughter just sent me a link to your inquiry. William Andrew Wilkin (his nickname was Willy) was born 26 May 1875 in Freestone County Tx and died 26 Dec 1933 in Houston TX. Lillie Odessa Jeffries was born 27 April 1886 just north of Gate City VA on a family farm that currently belongs to her grandchildren. She died 19 Feb 1977 in a nursing home in Webster TX. She was the second wife of Andrew. Andrew had two sons via his first wife, Alma Drumwright. They were Sterling and Thomas Rudolph Wilkin. Andrew was a widower when he married Lillie. Lillie's youngest child, Mary Jo Rollins nee Wilkin is still alive. Andrew's youngest sister, Lolla Mae Ross nee Wilkin (Andrew's father, William Joseph Wilkin, MD was married 5 times) was still alive several years ago. I don't know if she is still living. I know more if anyone is interested. William and Lillie were my grandparents. William died before I was born, but I knew Lillie well. Their son, Brahman Wilkin, was my father.
