Hello.
I am Malcolm Cole-Wilkin living just north of Norridge with wife Martine who has done vast amounts of work on my family tree (Wilkin and Cole came together amorously in the mid-1800s in the south west of Norfolk), hence we are able to furnish the information following.
Extract from Hockering Baptisms

Could Alice be an earlier wife, or a transcribers error?
Given the 17 years gap, best bet is that Anne was a second wife.
I can find no trace of a marriage in Hockering – perhaps Anne came from another parish. Unfortunately I can find no Banns which would help in this respect, as they are published in both parishes. If you have any suggestions for a different parish for the marriage, let us know and we will try to look further.
