2008 Alfred WILKINS FAMILY REUNION, Johnston Co NC
The annual WILKINS family reunion will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008, at the American Legion Hut on Hwy 70-A in Pine Level, N.C.
Family and friends of the late James Henry WILKINS and Sarah Bonner JORDAN WILKINS are invited to attend the reunion, starting at 11:30 A.M. and lasting throughout the afternoon. Everyone should bring food and drinks to be shared at noon.
The founders of the WILKINS family were Alfred WILKINS, born about 1800, who came to Boon Hill Township about 1835, and his wife Edith. Their children were: Henry W. WILKINS who married Sarah HOWELL of Wayne County; John WILKINS and Marinda RAINS; Eli WILKINS and Evaline HILL; Owen C. WILKINS and Rebecca JOHNSON; Sarah D. WILKINS; Edith Mariah WILKINS who married Henry BYRD; and, Mary Ann WILKINS who married William EASON. Descendants of Theophilus WILKINS and Nancy KING and descendants of Ann WILKINS are also members of this family.
