That info came from me or sharon Lisk. Her cousin sent her a postcard which says: WL Goss was in New Caney, Tx and WR[William Rufus Wilkins] was in Waukegen, Tx. The message to Rufus was:"Your Pa is in a bad fix, he fell and cant walk and is helpless.Bring your ma and some purple cherry seed. Ema stays part of the time with us.
The card is from WL Goss to William Rufus dated 1910. W.L Goss is the husband of John and Janes daughter "Hulda", who is buried in Freeman Cem. Montgomery co. Tx and we believe the "Granpa Wilkins" thats there also, is our John T. they are 2 grave plots apart.
