My gr gr gr grandmother was Clarisa Wishon Hoots Who lived and is buried in Scott Co. Illinois and her mother was Margaret Wishon from North Carolina her parents were Wishon's, She was said to have married a full blooded Cherokee, and I didn't know until recently that when an indian married a white woman He took her last name, this took place in the 1800's I have been told during the trail of tears, and she went to Oklahoma and went back to NC.And lived in Ky. also for a while, Any one look familiar please let me know, Thanks
