Hi there - I am researching my family tree which includes the family name WOLFERT. Josef Heinrich Wolfert was my grandfather's name. He was born in Niedertiefenbach, Germany on January 2, 1902. Grew up in Wiesbaden, married in Wanne-Eickel on February 28, 1928 to Antonia Agata Andrzycki and then lived in Cologne (Koeln), Germany. In my research the only info I have come across is that WOLFERT has mostly likely its roots in the Hessen area of Germany and was used as a first name in Holland. PLEASE, any info at all appreciated!
