Hi Alice,
Don't know about your George. I have a George s/o John Woodyard d 1795 Prince William Co., VA and Ann Thomas. Nothing else for this George. All of the next ones are descendants of Walter Woodyard and Mary Brewer:George Washington Woodyard m Sarah Bowling 9/19/1844; their son George Robert Woodyard m Amanda Sullivan and their sons George Frank and George Robert, Jr.; George W. Woodyard s/o Walter Edward Woodyard and Leah Adaline Gray; and George Gray Woodyard s/o John David Woodyard and Mary G. Gray. All of these Woodyards were in Washington Co., AL between early 1800s to at least 1982. Sorry I couldn't help. Where was your George? I haven't really researched the Woodyards except in GA, i.e. my family. Any info for the Georgians? All help appreciated.
