The death certificate of Martha Morrison, wife of Dan Morrison, who died on 31 January 1940 at the age of 50 in Louisville, KY names her parents as Henry Woodyard and Eliza J. Bunnell. The informant was Herbert Woodard of Conner (near Shelbyville), Shelby, KY where she was buried; he was presumed to be her brother. The 1930 census for Louisville has Martha P. Morrison married to Dan Morrison, a barber, and her age as 40 with parents born in Kentucky; the 1920 census for Louisville has Martha Woodyard, aged 25, living there as a seamstress, parents born in Kentucky. There are no further public records of Martha or Herbert Woodyard or Woodard in Kentucky. Neither is there any mention of an Eliza Bunnell in Kentucky during that time.
The only Henry Woodyard in Kentucky during this time was Henry H. Woodyard who was living in Hardin County and married at that time to Sallie Brownfield.
