Jacob Woolbright(1755-1839) m. Valinda Radcliff. His son, Jacob, Jr. married Elzabeth (Betsy) Caldwell. The Caldwells were origninally Norman and ran with Barborasa, the pirate. THey settled in Scotland and their desscendants turn up later in Irland. Some of them came to America to fight in the Rev. War. and did not return home.
Jacob also had a son, Barnabas B. Woolbright not to be confused with Jacob's brother, Barnabas (1751-1818 who had sons also named Jacob and Barnabas. This Jacob also had a son, Jacob, Jr. Barnabas B. Woolbright married Polly Hemphill who is recorded in some LDS records as wife of Baarnabas (1752) which is of coourse erronous as his wife was (1)Elizabeth Saunders and (2) Martha Adams.
