Cath - I have 17 'James' in my database, but none fit your critia.
However, as an exercise I went into FreeBMD on the internet & found:-
James Charles R Wraight married Phoebe Amy Stephens. This looks distinctly possible. A copy of the marriage certificate could be obtained from www.documentsonline.pro.gov.uk for £7 if you quote '1902/Sept, District Strood, Vol. 2a, Page 1294'
I also found on the same site the birth of:-
Phoebe Edith S Wraight. (1903/June, Strood, 2a, 694) Again this fits in.
