Mornin' Lynette, Many folks did not have birth certificates back then. so if he did enlist, and looked old enough, any form of id would probably have been sufficient. But what is your source for Frank having served in WWI? The draft is and was, a civil requirement. It has nothing to do with having served in the military. Dick
