Hi Lynette, If you have Frank's baptismal record that's a good find but probably the best you're going to do. Texas did not even require the recording of vital records 'til shortly after 1900. Have you searched for birth/baptismal records for the other Tx. born children from the 1900 Valley co, Mt. census? What about a civil or church marriage record for William & Anna T.? Just a note on draft registration cards and add'l info on Frank. There is no way you can tell from a registration card if someone was eventually called to active duty or enlisted. Frank registered on the 1918 d/r for men in his age group. He was 32 and the war was winding down. So likely, he was never called. Column 30 of the 1930 census (Whether a veteran of U.S. military servic) for Frank indicates he did not serve. Have you requested an obit search for his 25 May 1968 death from the Valley county area newspapers Lynette? We never know in this crazy game where our next clue will come from. Dick
