Actually, the question has now been answered, since when I posted another question on a different forum on this site, I got an extremely complete response that touched on several other questions I's had, including this one. It seems that Henry Gilson would have been Samuel Blackman's nephew, as when he came here, the ship passenger registry showed that Benzion Gilenson (Henry's father, and my grandfather) was going to S. Blackman in Philadelphia, listed as his brother-in-law. So Samuel was Minnie's brother, and thus Henry's uncle.
