Malaria Concentration Camp

Our family has a photo of Frank Kenward of Eastbourne, Sussex. On the back are the words "Malaria Concentration Camp, Soldiers Christian Associat Hut, Shorehamby Sea." Does anyone know anything about this facility? I have no information on where Frank served and what branch of the army he was in. He was demobilized Nov. 8, 1920 at the Crystal Palace. Does that give any clues?
